Can I Still Get Tickets?
Yes, and it's easier than ever! Tickets are selling quickly so don’t delay! They are still available through www.NYEDetroit.com & www.ResolutionBallDetroit.com, When you place your order, you’ll get a credit card receipt sent to you via email.

How Do I Get My Tickets?
NYEDetroit.com or ResolutionBallDetroit.com.
Tickets purchased on or before 12/20/2011 will be mailed. Tickets purchased on 12/20/2011 or after will be available at Will Call (located inside the Fillmore’s main doors) when the doors open. All tickets will be under the name of the purchaser – ID and receipt are required.
Orders with Canadian Addresses will will be held at Will Call under the purchaser’s name.

ID is required for ALL ticket holders – This event is 21+. Be sure to bring your ID and receipt with you – No Exceptions!

Will I get an email receipt?
When you purchase your tickets from one of the website listed above your receipt will be emailed to you. if you do not get a receipt, please check your spam folder and then call our office. If

What kind of pre-event info should I know?
Days before the event, a detailed confirmation email will be sent to purchasers outlining imporant things to know for event arrival, check-in, and any special details that you should be aware of prior to arriving.

How many people are expected to attend?
The Main Floor and Mezzanine/upper levels of The Fillmore have a capacity of 1,950 guests. We always limit ticket sales for the Resolution Ball to 1,750 guests to offer our guests a premier New Year's Eve Experience. We hope you are one of them!

What kind of crowd are you expecting?
The Resolution Ball always draws an upscale crowd of young professionals mostly in their 20's and 30's from all corners of the country. It's a great mix of singles and couples and an even male to female ratio.

Will I be able to get a drink?
You Bet! The Fillmore Detroit has some of the most skilled bar staff around. They are bartending professionals and there will be over 25 bartenders at 9 bars available to serve you!

What about parking?
Valet parking will be available on a limited basis. There are ample parking structures and reasonably priced public parking lots across the street, along Elizabeth (side street) and within 3 blocks of The Fillmore. What do I do with my coat?
Coat check is complimentary for VIP guests and $3 for all other guests. If you valet, we recommend leaving your coat in the car.

What time do the doors open?
It varies depending on the ticket you purchased. Doors open at:
8:00pm for those with a VIP All-Access Pass
9:30pm for those with a NYE Party Pass
10:30pm for those with a Late Nite Pass

What should I wear?
Its New Year's Eve...Turn a few heads! It's the night to dress to impress! For attire ideas take a look at the pictures from previous years which can be seen at www.ResolutionBallDetroit.com. Black Tie is optional and you get 50% off Tuxedo Rentals from our sponsors www.PresidentTuxedo.com when mentioning Resolution Ball or NYEdetroit.com.

Are jackets required for guys?
Jackets no, Pants yes!

Will I be on camera?
It's very likely. We'll have cameras and video circulating throughout the party all night long, so smile!

Should I purchase a Party Pass or VIP ticket?
There's no right or wrong answer here as there is a ticket for everyone! With a VIP or Party Pass ticket you will enjoy a champagne fountain reception upon arrival. For those wanting more, a VIP ticket will gain you access to the Private VIP Mezzanine level for gourmet hors d’oeuvres from 8-9:30pm as well early arrival ensures an opportunity to secure prime seating as well as have access to 4 private VIP bars on the Mezznine and Louge levels. No-line entry and FREE coat check are also perks for the VIP guests.

How does the Premium Bar Package work?
Our premium bar packages are the equivalent to what other parties advertise as an “open bar”. To meet the requirements of the Michigan Liquor Laws, we distribute drink tickets that are redeemable for any beverage of your choice for the specified times. There is ample time and ample drink tickets for you to enjoy both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the event – your choice. VIP guests will enjoy a 7-Hour Bar Package with 12 drink tickets. NYE Party Pass guests will enjoy a 5-Hour Bar Package with 7 drink tickets. 1 Drink Ticket is redeemable for 1 drink of your choice. Late Night guests will have a premium cash bar available through out the evening. For our VIP and NYE Party Pass guests, there is no need to worry about not getting enough to drink or having to pay for drinks throughout the night.

I’m a VIP – what do I get?
The Fillmore’s exclusive Mezzanine level offers the perfect option for those wanting a premium experience on New Year's Eve with a spectacular view of the main dance floor and full access to all the party has to offer. VIP Guests will enjoy preferred entry, private gourmet food stations, a 7-hour premium bar package, a complimentary champagne reception, midnight toast, midnight buffet, 4 private bars and plentiful seating on the Mezzanine and Loge level’s theatre seating area.

Can I reserve "Ultra VIP" seating?
VIP SKY BOXES ARE SOLD OUT
You sure can but it's limited to only 8 "sky boxes". These are the "opera boxes" from days of the distant past -- over looking the dance floor you can have best seats in the house to watch the show, dance in your booth or rest your feet and chill out from dancing all night. The "sky boxes" typically host 8-17 guests (8-12 seated... but seriously, if you are sitting...you are not at the right party!) You can invite your entourage to stop by and party at "your place".

What’s the deal with the $30 Late Night ticket?
Have plans earlier in the evening? Arrive fashionably late – from 10pm on and pay only $30! This ticket includes a cash bar until 3am, hearty midnight snacks, midnight champagne toast, and the hottest NYE party in Detroit until 4am! There are limited tickets available and they sell out fast so buy early!

How many VIP tickets will be sold for Resolution Ball 2012?
Our VIP ticket is the hottest ticket in town for 10 years running and in 2010 VIP tickets sold out by 12/15/10! The number of available VIP tickets available will vary depending on overall event ticket sales. . The bottom line, you snooze you lose so get your tickets early!

Is it possible to guarantee seating?
Yes!!! A limited number of mezzanine level box seats and main floor tables will be available in the VIP section for VIP ticket holders only. Reservations are limited and required. Remember, with limited “real estate” its location, location, location! Please contact The Social Connection office at 248-543-1000 for pricing information and reservations. VIP Open Seating - All VIP guests will all have access to the Mezzanine level theatre seats that overlook the main floor as well as access to the 3rd & 4th level “Loge” with extra private VIP Bars and over 1000 theatre style seats! Grab a cocktail, rest your feet and still enjoy the show.

Is seating available outside of the VIP section?
Yes, although tables won't be assigned or guaranteed. The Fillmore as well as the State Bar does offer seating and cabaret-style tables for guests who need to rest in between trips to the bar, food stations and dance floors, but with our entertainment line-up you won't spend much time sitting! We recommend the VIP ticket and arriving early to stake your claim.

What kind of music & entertainment will there be?
Headliner & Cirque Style Entertainment Until 4am – with all the good stuff that makes you want to dance all night long!

On The Main Stage: DJ Tommy Holiday & Holiday Productions & DJ Cue are back in "the house"! They will get the party started early, keep you dancing & ring in the New Year playing music from the decades, top 40, mash-ups, hip-hop, techno and a variety of current popular dance tunes along with everyone’s favorites. The Detroit Circus Performers will provide High Wire Aerialists - Acrobats - Illusionists – Fire Performers for Detroit’s most unique NYE entertainment for a night you won't forget!

At the State Bar (Connected to the Fillmore) groove to the Jazz & Blues music with keyboard player and local Jazz favorite Carey Heller.

A-Live Video Productions will be around the party for live steaming video of you and your friends partying like the rock stars that you are on 6 HUGE screens all around the Fillmore and the State Bar… Lady Gaga…move over!

Will ticket prices go up?
Our tickets are always the best deal in town so we recommend buying early to ensure you get your tickets and take advantage of “early bird” pricing. Ticket prices go up in December and if you are always a “last minute louie” remember, if you snooze, you may lose and not get a ticket and that would be a total bummer! :(

How Long will Discounts Be Available?
The big count down is fast approaching & there are all kinds of incentives to buy early. Group Rates as well as Corporate & Affinity Group discounts WILL NOT be available as the countdown approaches so book now and use the extra cash you save to tip your bartender or treat yourself to valet!

How do I get tickets after December 20?
If tickets are still available, simply follow the same instructions noted above and print your confirmation receipt. Your tickets will be available at Will Call at the Fillmore the day of the event beginning at 6pm and will be under the name of the purchaser. You will need to present a valid ID & your receipt in order to pick up your tickets at Will Call – No Exceptions!

Are tickets refundable?
Just like a concert, tickets to the Fillmore, all ticket sales to the Resolution Ball are final and there are NO REFUNDS. If you cannot attend and you have your LiveNation tickets or printable tickets available you may simply sell or give them to another guest. If your tickets are being mailed or held at will call by NYEdetroit/The Social Connection you must email us at specialevents@thesocialconnection.com to make a name change by 12/30/11.

What happens if I show up without my ticket?
Unless your ticket is at "will call" you won't get in! Tickets and a valid ID are absolutely required for all attendees – No Exceptions!

Can I pay with cash or check?
Yes. If you would prefer to pay with cash or check, please contact us at 248-543-1000 to make arrangements or visit the Fillmore Theatre Box Office which is only open on the days of shows. Check www.LiveNation.com for availability.

Will tickets be sold at the door?
It's unlikely. This party SELLS OUT every year days in advance of the event - We expect to sell out well before New Year's Eve so get your tickets early!

Will anyone under 21 be admitted?
No – 21 and over only! Legal, picture ID is required (Passport, State ID, or Driver’s License).

Are group discounts available?
Yes. All of the group ticket packages are outlined at www.ResolutionBallDetroit.com.

Groups of 10+ (Same Order)
Buy 10 on the same order and get one free (Order 11 and the your free ticket taken off at check out)
Buy 20+ on the same order and get 2 free tickets (Order 22 and 2 free tickets taken off at check out)
Buy 30+ on the same order and get 3 free tickets (Order 33 and 3 free tickets taken off at check out)
